How to get out of an unwanted cycle

0 0

A cycle is time period in your life when you find yourself doing the same group of tasks with no superior result. It is easy to fall into one of the cycles because it often gets incorporated into our daily routines. Waking up, getting on your phone, eating breakfast, driving to work, working for eight hours, driving home, eating dinner, watching Netflix then getting ready to do it all over again. When you’re in a cycle, time seems like it’s not enough. Until you recognize the current cycle you are in, and how you can get out of it.

There are many ways to get out of an unwanted cycle. You can wake up earlier, you can choose to meal prep so you don’t eat out, you can stick to a stricter schedule. But it’s important to remember that can be another cycle in itself. You have to challenge yourself to stick to cycle progression. You can do this by putting yourself on weekly, monthly schedules that have progress checks after a certain amount of time. This allows you to challenge your current cycle and upgrade your life. Imagine if you are just cold turkey cut out bad habits because you were tired of feeling unfulfilled.

When you’re feeling yourself slipping back into a previous cycle, remember the vicious Sisyphean loop. It refers to doing tedious work that keeps you so busy and makes you forget about how you have to constantly challenge yourself in order to make real progress in life. If you want to see true development and improvement, then you have to look beyond the horizon. Give yourself a goal/prize to look forward to and strive towards it.

When you listen to motivational speakers or read self-help books, they can give you a strong sense of enthusiasm but what makes this feeling last? Developing strong willpower. You can access strong spiritual nature by setting realistic goals and having healthy habits.
